Smart navigation
Disables the "A-B" button function, short click on "A-B" calls the main menu, holding the button calls the navigation, in the menu the entries "voice" and "navigation" are swapped
Longest light duration
Sets the original 15 secs. longest light duration to an user defined value
Remove "VBR"
Removes the text "VBR" in the display for a variable bit rate mp3, mostly the right song time is displayed instead
Quick shutdown
Halfes the time of the player shutdown when holding the stop button
Scrolling delay
Sets the scrolling speed of the mp3 info text in the display
Skip speed/boundary
Sets the speed for the fast forward and fast rewind in two phases, "speed" is the skip speed delay (in secs.) and the "boundary" is the delay after the speed change will happen (in 300 msecs.), the 2-values must be greater than the 1-values.
Replace 'JAZZ' eq.
Replaces the "Jazz" equalizer settings by user defined 5-band-graphical-equalizer settings. You can apply any of the 5 bands to your own needs. Further you can reset the values to one of the built-in settings or to one of two settings suggested by CARE project (first one is the default).

- the patcher program itself
- the firmware updater including the ONE and ONLY original resource.bin file:
version 3.198 size 3.726.203 bytes for the "G-Flash 1GB"
version 3.197 size 3.745.728 bytes for the "G-Flash Deluxe 1GB"
version 3.197 size 1.888.913 bytes for the "G-Flash 512MB"
(you can downlod the whole original firmware including the updater at www.maxfield.de)
- the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 (if not installed yet, you can download it at www.microsoft.com)
