Welcome to openvideotoaster.org, the Open Source alternative for your Amiga, AROS & MorphOS video editing.
What is a Video Toaster?
Today's 21 first century Video Toaster is now called
VT[5] and
TriCaster. It's a solution for editing, and streaming video on Windows.
However, the Video Toaster began it's journey on the well known Amiga platform. The original Video Toaster product was a combination of hardware and software for the editing and production of standard-definition NTSC video on personal computers.
In 2004 the Amiga version of Video Toaster went 'Open Source', and is now available on this site.
The source code is under an open source license, which allows anyone to freely improve upon it.
