HD Video Effects require an HD TriCasterr. SD Digital Video Effects require SpeedEDIT 2, VT[5] or a SD TriCaster. All effects are also compatible with Video Toaster[2], VT[3] & VT[4]. & SpeedEDIT 1.x

Final Cut Effects require Final Cut Pro X. If your system meets the minimum requirements to run Final Cut then it meets the requirements to run DiscreetFX effects collections.
